Clarity is proud to advise the completion of the Charpekar Museum and the opening by the CM of Maharashtra, Shri Darendra Fadnavis, on the 18th of May 2025. The museum opened to the public on the 1st April 2025.

Located in the beautiful Chapekar Wada, the Chapekar Museum tells the history of a few Maharashtrian freedom fighters, focusing on the life of the Chapekar brothers. Damodar Hari, Balkrishna Hari and Vasudev Hari Chapekar had come with their family to Chinchwad in 1830. The museum is fully interactive and uses dioramas, video and audio to tell the story of these famous brothers and their part in the fight for India's freedom.

Rashi Vachhanci, Project Director and Partner at Clarity Consulting, led the design team and worked on overseeing the installation and programming. Rashi said, "It was a challenging project due to low ceiling heights as the Museum is the actual Chapekar Wada, and this also meant we needed to ensure the lighting technology added was not visible to the visitor.
The wada was converted into a museum to mitigate its deteriorating condition. It has been jointly constructed by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and the Chapekar Smarak Samati.

Clarity Consulting is proud to have provided the lighting design for this project and worked with Moving Pixels and TagLab's on it's implementation and programming.
